The SBC seatback is intended for wheelchair users with back discomfort and/or higher postural demands. The high-quality foam seatback is engineered to perfectly align with the natural slant of the spine, facilitating optimal seating postural support, and alleviating pressure and strain on spinal discs and vertebrae. The cushion consists of layers of top-quality foam, trimmed with highest quality, durable and washable, medical grade fabric.

Description

Aussie Ergonomics wheelchair seatbacks are Australian made and registered class 1 medical devices (ARTG 410615). They are built of layers of hard, medium hard or medium soft high-density, high-quality foam. Our seatbacks are designed based on extensive research, technical testing, and empirical patient feedback. Each seatback is unique and will be custom manufactured to specified width, depth, height and shape dimensions. The high-quality medical grade fabric has superb thermal qualities and is removable (zipper). Seatbacks are built on a flexible material to conform with the various wheelchair back plates. They are mounted with adaptable straps and accommodate lateral supports of variable sizes with their inbuilt side pockets.
